Adventures of a Beauty Queen congratulates Filipina teen beauty queen Mariella Castillo for entering the semi-finals and winning the Miss Queen Teen of Asia and Oceania at the Miss Global Teen 2010 beauty pageant in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil over the weekend!
Congratulations too to Dominican Republic’s Mayte Brito Medina for winning the main title Miss Queen Teen 2010. Check out her photo below – doesn’t she remind you of our current Bb. Pilipinas World Czarina Gatbonton? They look like SISTERS!!!

i dont mean to be sarcastic- and not to take away anything from Mariella- but isnt she the only candidate from Asia? Well there’s another girl from Oceana…this continental award doesnt seem fair…and oh 15 finalist out of 23?
but congrats to Mariella- i think she is very pretty…and she should join other competitions…this one is a good training ground for another pageant

maybe that is why she did not make it into the top 6? There wasn’t much choice as Asia and Oceania didn’t have enough representation in the pageant…. However, Mariella did make it into the semi-finals and that is cool
