In her teens, Cory Quirino was invited to join the Bb. Pilipinas beauty pageant but her Father was so strict he forbade her to join. Interestingly enough, she now holds the Miss World Philippine franchise.
When I discovered in December that the Miss World franchise was changing hands – from the Bb. Pilipinas group to Cory Quirino – I was utterly despondent.
Well, okay, that’s an OVERstatement but I WAS truly sad. For about 2 seconds. I mean, you can’t stay in the doldrums for long if Cory Quirino is in charge. Just look at her accomplishments: writing books and news columns, hosting TV and radio shows, producing fitness videos and outfoxing kidnappers; what a WOMAN!
So when I tracked Cory Quirino down via cellphone (thanks Joebert Sucaldito for putting me in touch with her), and found her to be so accommodating, she shot to the top of my honorary beauty queen list!
HOW CORY WON THE WORLD…
Getting the Miss World franchise was really just kismet for Cory. Totally left field. As unexpected as a snowball in Manila. And it happened REALLY fast – in the span of half a month!
Cory Quirino says she was at a dinner in Kuala Lumpur last December when the Miss World franchise was offered to her via a Malaysian friend. The friend said that Cory had the DNA they were looking for – she was high profile, beautiful and capable of managing, producing and staging the search for the next Miss World Philippines.
Two weeks after that fateful December 2010 dinner, Miss World Inc. appointed Cory Quirino as franchise holder. Then in January 2011, Julia Morley, wife of the founder of Miss World, visited Manila with her entourage including the reigning Miss World winner Alexandria Mills (USA) for a ‘state’ visit.

Stella Marquez, chairman of the Bb. Pilipinas Charities and an international beauty queen on her own right.
BUT WHAT ABOUT BPCI?
While the suddenness of it all is great for Cory Quirino, I can’t say its the same for the Bb. Pilipinas camp. Letting go of the Miss World franchise after owning it for a solid 19 years must be difficult. Even I struggle with the thought that a title that was once BPCI’s is now a direct competitor.
So is BPCI bitter about the sudden change? Well, Cory Quirino emphatically says she hopes not. First of all, she says the decision was entirely made by Julia Morley who, according to Cory, prefers a stand-alone pageant for Miss World Philippines. Unfortunately, Bb. Pilipinas gives out several titles: the Miss Universe and Miss International aside from the Miss World title (but not anymore). Cory adds that the Miss World franchise contract is renewable on a year to year basis which allows Julia Morley the annual freedom of choosing whom she wants.
While Cory Quirino hasn’t spoken yet to BPCI Chairman Stella Araneta, she told me that she intends to talk to Stella soon. They are, after all, related – Stella’s hubby Nene is the Ninong of Cory’s daughter.
CORY’S GOT THE MISS WORLD IN HER HANDS…
So what can we expect now that Cory Quirino is running the show?
First of all, Cory says, she’s going to be very hands-on. Secondly, Miss World Philippines will be a REAL nationwide search; she says they will have screening teams in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. And third, she promises to even out the playing field so poor girls with big dreams will have as much chance to join and win.
Ironically, the last Bb. Pilipinas World winner, Czarina Gatbonton is a perfect snapshot of that – a poor girl with big dreams who unexpectedly won. Maybe Czarina’s victory was a portent of things to come for Miss World in the Philippines. A portent none of us recognized at the time.

Peachy Veneracion (on the cover of Panorama magazine) was a strong contender for the 1977 Miss World title. Too bad she was forced to back out.
PEACHY VENERACION’S CURSE ON MISS WORLD?
A pet peeve of many Pinoy beauty pageant fans is the fact that we have NO Miss World winner from the Philippines yet. We have winners in Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Earth and most recently Super Model of the World but the highest placement the Philippines ever got in Miss World was in 1973 when Evangeline Pascual placed second. (She would have been Miss World when the winner was dethroned but Evangeline Pascual reportedly turned down the opportunity.)
Could the Philippine drought in Miss World be because of beauty queen Peachy Veneracion’s curse? I found this interesting comment on a pageant discussion board:
Perhaps the answer lies in Miss Peachy Veneracion. (In
19741977) she was forced to pull out by the Philippine government, headed by then dictator Ferdinand Marcos, to protest the inclusion of South Africa in the (Miss World) contest. She was repeatedly begged by Miss World org to not pull out because her chances were very good. However, if she disobeyed, bad things could happen to her and her family. Peachy was so distraught by the situation that she made a curse that day that no Filipina will EVER win the Miss World crown. Perhaps it is time she lifts that curse or have somebody cancel it for her.
I asked Cory Quirino what she thought of this whole ‘curse story’. Without missing a beat, Cory stoutly declared that she didn’t believe in curses simply because her faith was in the power of grace.
Addenda: I received this info from a reliable source:
When Peachy Veneracion cursed Miss World after she was forced to quit the pageant by the Phil Govt in 1977, she said “no Filipina will ever win Ms World except my daughter.” When Carlene Ang Aguilar won Bb. Pilipinas World, Peachy lifted the curse because she considers Carlene a daughter of hers. Carlene should have won Miss World if the pageant continued the online world voting system and fans can only wonder why the online voting was stopped in midstream.

L-R: Julia Morley, Miss World 2010 Alexandria Mills (USA), Cory Quirino and Miss World 2010 First Runner-up Emma Wareus (Botswana). As you can see, Cory's got the looks of a beauty queen!
THE MISS WORLD 2011 TO BE HOSTED BY MANILA?
The most exciting part of our phone conversation was when Cory Quirino intimated to me that she is trying to work toward the possibility of Manila hosting the 2011 Miss World beauty pageant. It’s a tall order and will cost more arms and legs than an octopus would care to sacrifice but Cory Quirino says there is lots of hope. She is currently talking to government agencies as well as investors and sponsors to get the backing she needs.
One strong indicator that the Miss World will be held in Manila this year (I hear it’s going to be in September) is that Julia Morley is reportedly planning a return visit to Manila in August 2011. Ostensibly, she’s coming to town to strengthen her ties with the community and visit the 2 PGH heart patients that she adopted during her visit here in January 2011.
But just to make it clear guys, NOTHING IS SOLID; things are still up in the air.
Back to Julia’s recent visit to Manila, Cory says the Miss World co-chair was deeply touched when over 300 street children, mostly girls, from the Tuloy Street Children Foundation serenaded her and Miss World 2010 Alexandria Mills. It is Julia’s and Cory’s hope that the Miss World Philippines can give a future to little girls like that.
Well, well, well… it looks like 2011 is going to be an exciting year for Pinoy beauty pageant fans now that we have another beauty pageant to look forward to – Miss World Philippines 2011! At this point, I can’t seem to decide which to pray for – a Filipina to win Miss World or the Miss World to be hosted in Manila this year. Can I just pray for BOTH??!!!
Best wishes to Cory Quirino, Julia Morley and the Miss World Philippines group from Adventures of a Beauty Queen!!!
Thanks to the ff for photos: Cory Quirino, Pep.PH and Pinoy Paparazzi

I don’t doubt Ms.Quirino’s substantial resources and logistical capabilites. But the Philippines must HOLD THE TITLE first before it can HOST THE PAGEANT.
Thanks Mario! If that is the case then let’s win Miss World this year (or soon) and host it the year after!!!
Got this text response from Cory Quirino: Not true. Its not a requirement. It depends on the capacity of the country to host. Government support is a must. Plus peace and order.
We should host Miss World for 3 Years, by then, maybe Julia Morley will just give the crown to us, just like what she did to China, giving them a winner in 2007.
hey, that’s an idea! LOL!
I think , may politics sa Ms. World kaya hirap manalo ang Asians kaya madalas puti or Latina ang nananalo. India is a British colony as well as the black winners, ,Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Nigeria, kaya nakalusot sila.
Well, hopefully Cory will be able to navigate the political seas of Miss World to the benefit of our representative
I agree. Bermuda ( 1979 winner ) is a British territory.
maybe we just need to produce better and competitive national winners… if so, we will have bigger chances in the international pageant – British territory or not…
Wow! A sad yet joyful news. Sad that the titles for Bb Pilipinas winners will be changed. From the 3 most coveted titles now trimmed down to 2, and the other title (as you have mentioned) is now a direct competitor. Joyful in the sense that it will open doors to other people who are in beauty pageants like me. Been directing and training beauty queen hopefuls (thru workshops) for several years now and I know that another beauty contest is another hope for Filipina beauties all over the world.
Regarding the Philippines to host Ms World. I guess, it’s too early for us to venture into that. Since It would be a first to mount Ms World Philippines pageant (whatever the title). Hope they start the public announcement early.
Good luck to them.
Thanks Joyce for this new post!

Hi there! Yes, bittersweet nga talaga… but I think in the long run this is going to be a great thing
Yes, I agree with you on that Joyce.
Wow! That is sad yet joyful at the same time.
Sad, 3 of the most coveted titles in Bb P is now trimmed down to 2. At the same time, as you mentioned, it becomes a direct competitor of the Pageant.
It’s joyful cause it will surely open doors to people like me who are into beauty pageants (been directing and training beauty queen hopefuls for several years now). New big pageant, new opportunities to pretty Filipinas all over the WORLD.
Regarding holding Ms World in the Philippines, I guess it’s still too early for them and for us to host it. They are to mount the very first Ms World Philippines (whatever title they have), then they should focus first on the local pageant. If we win the title this year for Ms World, it would give us more opportunities in the future.
The first winner for the new title will surely be given the attention she will be needing to compete for the Miss world title.
Good luck to them.

Joyce, I know it’s not a requirement but what I exactly meant was: IT WOULD BE BETTER IF we win the title first before we host the pageant.
Hmmm… but if Cory can bring Miss World here, whether we have a winner or not, wouldn’t it be good for us? At least in general?
Well, then, let us host the pageant first and we’ll get the “reward” later.
i agree it would be better to win first before we will host! id rather choose to host miss international here in the philippines first before miss world. its ok for me to trim down the bpci titles and im sad that they added cheap one> why not just crown two and send the 3 runners up in other minor pageants jst like senorita columbia. i dont really like miss globe, its cheap and unprofessional, and not worthy to be given a national title. now as a pageant fan i have 4 national pageants to look forward and i hope that the competitions is really hot on this 4 pageants. i really hope that they will not waste their runners up. send them to minor but with a cause pageant. mutya should learned their lessons of wasting queens!
Yes, totally agree that runners-up should be sent to minor pageants to really build up the girls
and so that we attract more and more truly beautiful contestants!
Beautiful article as always Ms Joyce
And guys enough of that British colony stuff- Venezuela was never a colony and they have the most winners, yes there are politics but do u really believe Ms World looks at former colonies in choosing a winner? Gosh, in 60 years history of the pageant-how many former British colonies won?
I say there is a formula for winning Ms World- just look at winners from the last 5 years- they all did well in the beach beauty and top model fast tracks- they are all simple and natural beauty- the current winner is a Ford model with vey natural look- they can talk and they are not too assertive like MU- they are committed like ME and pretty pretty like MI
I’m with you Ms Joyce in cheering for our country for the first MW- no negative energies, no speculations that are supported by unfounded conspiracy theories- just find the girl accdg to the specs of Ms Morley- and I’m sure were gonna win!
Nice positive approach
and thanks for the British colony info. There will always be politics in pageants, the question really is just how much. Pageant fans also seem to be relatively tolerant of politics – they hate it and complain about it but they’re still there watching and cheering, year after year. Since politics is here to stay let’s sharpen our political, study past winners as you suggested and send candidates that fit Ms Morley’s specs…
kelan ang screenning for miss world philippines?
Mimi, according to Cory Quirino there is no schedule yet for screening but you will surely hear about it online, in the media and in this blog
Where can we download the application for Miss World Philippines 2011. What are the requirements. Can a dual citizen participate in the contest?
I have a beautiful niece who wants to participate in the Miss World Philippines 2011. She was born in England. Her mother is Filipina and her father is English. Puede ba siyang sumali? She is 5 foot 10 inches tall and a real stunner!!! Well educated and very articulate!! ANSWER PLEASE….
Hi Erasmo! Miss World Philippines is still working on details like that but once they have their policies set I will make an announcement in my blog…. Thanks!!!
ow… how can i join the miss world philippines?
Application has not yet started, Miss Cory Quirino is still getting ready but when application time begins, you’ll hear about it on this blog!
you need to be beautiful inside and out… yun lang
Thanks for responding ABQ..I hope this golden opportunity for PINAYS all over the wold will be given the chance to compete and it will be the legacy of Cory Quirino’s chairmanship of Miss World that this will be realised and become a reality. Open the door for beautiful Pinays wherever they are in this whole wide world..after all it is Miss World Philippines.
Hi Joyce,
I noticed that Evangeline Pascual, Miss World 1973 1st runner up was present at the press conference with Julia Morley and Cory. If you recall, one of the proposed reasons why we never won Miss World was because nagtatampo daw si Mrs. Morley because Evangeline refused the Miss World crown when Marjorie Wallace was dethroned. But I suppose they made up their differences in that press conference. I am curious as to what they spoke about . I wonder if Evangeline told Mrs. Morley, ” Hi, remember me, after 37years or so?” lol. Anyway, just to add to the Peachy Veneracion tidbit; her chances of winning Miss World was 2:1 the day she decided to withdraw. Sayang talaga. If you know her personally, kindly please track her down because she really needs to get rid of that curse if she hasnt already yet.
Peachy canceled na daw the curse according to a reliable source. The last time i saw Peachy was at the wake of Joji Velarde. I plan to TRACK her down… once I get my sched on TRACK!
but yes she had a humongous chance of winning and I think it would have been a bigger statement to go ahead and join the pageant then if she won to lead a campaign against apartheid.
Kung tutoo that Mrs Morley made tampo bec of Evangeline grabe ka-tagal siyang nag-tampo! I really wonder nga what they spoke about… most likely it was kamustahan lang. Dyahe to bring up issues after all these years…..
[...] Cory Quirino’s Dream: To Host Miss World 2011 in the Philippines!!! (adventuresofabeautyqueen.com) [...]
Is it not amazing – the only countries that are rushing to host Miss World or any other of these contests are countries with more poverty than beauty queens. Do we hear Germany, France or any of the G8 countries, NO, They have learnt the art of getting the 3rd world to pay for everything.
Actually, now that you mention it, it’s quite embarrassing that 3rd world nations would do anything to host a pageant and even more so embarrassing that countries that are “progressive” would prey upon them.
Hello,
I am pleased that the launching of Miss World-Philippines 2011 has been done. Looking at the terms and conditions from the downloaded application form – item 20- it says the candidate must submit a photo size “5R”..the question is what is size 5R? is it 4×6 or 5×7 or 6×8. I am sure many prospective candidates especially from overseas would be puzzled by size “5R”. I have approached a lot of photo studios here in London, England and they do not knpw exactly what is “5R” size photo. Can you please and illustrate to us what this means?
Thanks for the question! A 5R photo is 5″ by 7″. I think 4R and 5R are photo terms used only in the Asian regions… a 4R on the other hand is a 4″ by 6″ photo…
Thanks for responding – now we know what size 5R means.
i think Venus Raj is the right candidate for Miss World Philippines 2011.
Hello,
Can you please eleborate on this ruling that if a prospective candidate had been a contestant in a beauty contest beforehand such candidates will be banned from joining Miss World Philippines 2011 (MWP) I mean if someone won Miss Ilocos Norte or Miss Laguna or Miss Capiz or Miss Beverley Hills does that mean that they will not be allowed to join MWP? If this is so then it is a silly and stupid ruling. We are a free country and I feel that every Filipina has the right to join MWP regardless of whether she had or had not join a beauty contest in the past. Every girl must be given the opportunity to win MWP and let the judges decide and not on bureaucratic rule such as this one. Its not too late yet to amend the rule otherwise the Philippines will never win Miss World not in a million years with this silly ruling. Actually, allowing contestants with beauty contest experience will raise the standard of the MWP beauty pageant. We are not selecting a Miss Perya Philippines or a Miss Barangay Philippines. We a are selecting a beautiful Filipina with intellect, confident and talent to represent our country in the Miss World beauty pageant. Let us not limit this to the mythical demure Filipina lass that comes from nowhere land. So, can you please clarify Cory Quirino’s stand on this issue?
Hi its me again, I would like to be clariied about this ruling in the Miss World Philippines (MWP) that contestants with previous beauty contest experience are not allowed to join MWP. My niece who is overly keen to participate in the MWP 2011 won Miss Brighton 2006 (five years ago) when she was barely 17 years of age and this also qualified her to represent Brighton in the Miss England beauty pageant in 2006 and did well and became one of the finalist. She is now 22 years of age and very much interested to compete in the MWP 2011. What will be her position concerning MWP? Will she be allowed too join? Stella Marquez made a lot of mistakes as proprietor of Bb Pilipinas and wasted a lt of beauiful Pinays. It is my hope that Cory Quirino as proprietor of Miss World will not make the same irrelevant mistakes as what Madame Marquez did to her Bb Pilipinas. In my honest opinion it is better and more logical to allow any Filipina with beauty pageant experience to participate and it gives credibility, raise standards and quality of contestants as well as prestige. You do not want a greenhorn or a novice to represent the Philippines in a prestigious beauty pageant such as Miss World.
i already have my application form but it was given to me by my manager who’s the official make-up artist of ms. world-phil.. i just don’t know if there is an online form or the one that can be downloaded.. screening is now going on.. that will be until june 15.. as far as i know the coronation night will be held @ PICC, july 23..
Tetch here is the official website – http://www.missworldphilippines.com/ I checked but did not see a downloadable form but I only scanned it quickly so you might want to look at the website more thoroughly. Wishing you the best!
Well, that’s a good news to have Miss World Philippines. I wish that Philippines will win the crown for the very first time for Miss World 2011.
I remember that when I was a kid in 1970s, there was Miss Republic of the Philippines, and then Mutya ng Pilipinas World during my high school and college days, Binibining Pilipinas World from 1992 to 2010, and finally this, Miss World Philippines 2011.
All our Filipinas are beautiful and charming. Our candidates must be given a practice for the question and answer portion. I think iyon ang kailangan iyong masagot ng husto iyong mga questions.
Well, let’s pray and support our candidates. Alam kong may laban pa rin ang Pilipinas sa mga international pageants.
yeah.. i already saw the downloadable form and there are some differences with the one given to me by my manager..
filipinas really do have an edge over other nationalities. the problem is that there is an involvement of ‘politics’ that’s why the chances are very limited.. well anyway, winning the crown is just a bonus. the real score is that we are able to host dis pageant and filipinas are given that great chance to represent RP in this international competition.. Its already an honor.
@MR. ARMANDO you’re definitely right
i think madam stella is lready tired of not having produced a miss world kaya she gave it up.so, this is a big challenege to ms cory q. pero we know cory q to be a advocate of herbal and organic beauty rpoducts, mga coconout oil , mga vegetable oil ekek, baka walang magsponsor from unilever o multinational corps because of that advocay of hers, o kung papayag man syang magsponsor ang uniliver known for commercialized products her advocay will be put in question nman, she has to toe the line
Good point ha. I will ask her when i see her.
Hi ABQ,
You have not responded to my queries!! My niece have not participated in any Philippine Beauty contest before therefore will she be qualified to join the MWP 2011. I do not want her to travel all the way to the Philippines and submit her application and screened jlust to be told that she is not qualified. Her mother is Filipina and her father is English, she is highly educated and intellectual with an MA is Arts and Drama obtained at London University last year. She is very talented and can sing classical songs and a versatile piano player. She stands 5 foot 10 inches tall. She is dual citizen with a Philippine passport. She has participated in many charitable events in England raising money for the disabled and cancer patients. I am sure you will enjoy her company when you meet her and allow her to participate in MWP “Beauty in Giving” scheme.
Erasmo! I have been remiss in my response to you… I am supposed to get in touch with Cory this week and I have a list of questions for her and they include your query. As soon as we touch bases I will tell you what she says. But at least we are sure that your niece is qualified if it is really true that girls with pageant experience are not qualified to join Miss World Philippines
very excited for your niece!
Thanks a lot for your response and I am keeping my fingers crossed and so is my sister (the mother) that all will be well when you meet Cory Quirino with a list of your questions concerning the pageant. Meanwhile my niece is shaping up for the competition and actually looking forward for the first ever MWP 2011 Beauty Pageant.
Hi ABQ,
Just to update you about my niece she told me that she will submit her application for MWP 2011 on 13th June at the PICC, hopefully she will be screened that day for inclusion in the search for Miss World Philippines 2011. I wish her the all the best for the competition her name is Charlotte Melissa Tyler.
Erasmo, it seems our schedules are conflicting so I haven’t had the chance to see Miss Quirino. However, I encourage your niece to go for it! She has a lovely name and I will keep an eye out for her!
is there any chances that 5’4 tall will be allowed to the screening? thanks
Not sure what the minimum is, but if I were you, I’d go anyway. Attending pageant screenings can be a lot of fun and you get the experience of being under pressure while trying to impress the screening committee. Just remember to keep a good attitude if youre not accepted because of height issues. But if they do take you in anyway then WOW, not baaaaad!
Wow. Thank you.
GODBless.
Hi ABQ,
I have noticed that they have changed the dates of screening for MWP 2011 yet again. Can any prospective candidate submit her application form and be screened at the PICC any time? There are many dates posted in the websites of MWP and it is very confusing – which is really the final one?
There is a cp that you can text, it’s on this post that I just published…
it’s the first year for Miss Philippines World under Cory so I guess we have to give her leeway. Plus, no other pageant is holding this many screenings all over the nation – its not joke to organize these things so we have to give her credit for that. So let’s all just bear with the changing scheds and pray that as the search continues things will normalize.
no dates yet for PICC
HI Erasmo, you will just have to keep visiting the main site. I also have a cp number you can text for direct information. It’s in my posts on MWP screenings. BTW, here is Miss Cory Quirino’s response regarding your niece:
Hi Joyce,
Based on the info you have given me, I consulted with our lawyer. The lady is qualified to join Miss World Ph. For as long as she has not competed abroad in an international pageant, she is a qualified candidate. Hope this helps. Ask them to download the application forms on our website. And do email us her photos! secretariat@missworldphilippines.com
Many thanks.
Cory

Charlotte my niece originally booked her flight to the Philippines on 9th June because she thought the deadline for the MWP would be 15th June anyway she has now cancelled this and rebooked her flight 20th July in time for the screening and selection of the final 25 finalists on 31st July 2011. I am hoping she would still be considered for the screening when she arrives on 21st July with her mom and dad.
Erasmo, does she carry a Philippine passport? I read in the rules that the contestants have to be Filipino citizens. Regarding your earlier query, Miss Cory Quirino informed me that if the contestant has competed in an international beauty pageant she is not qualified to join. However if all she has is a local Philippine title and has never competed internationally then she can join. Not sure if they will be changing the rules as the days go on but we can always wait and see…
Hi ABQ,
She has a Philippine passport being a dual citizen . As a local girl she participated in the Miss Brighton contest in 2006 when she was 17 years of age and was crowned Miss Brighton 2006. She also won the Cover Girl 2006 for the UK paintball. She is now 23 years of age and graduated with an MA in Arts and Drama and currently teaching arts and drama among school children here in the UK. How will this background affect her candidacy for the MWP?
Sending your query to Miss Cory…
Hi ABQ,
I probably did not explain clearly Charlotte’s situation with regards to her intention in joining MWP. Charlotte is the daughter of my sister who is married to an Englishman. They live in England and Charlotte was born in England. They visit the Philippines frequently. Charlotte has acquired Filipino citizenship through dual citizenship and has a Philippine passport. She is also a Filipino citizen by virtue of being a mother of a Filipina. As a local lass here England she participated in the Miss Brighton 2006 beauty contest and won the title besting about 100 candidates which was trimmed to 30 finalists. She was 17 years of age when she won this title and because she lives locally here in England this should not be considered as an international participation of a contestant for MWP 2011. She is now 23 years of age and very eager to contribute her world class experiences in the “beauty in giving” motto of the MWP regardless wheteher she wins MWP or not. I just hope that Cory Quirino allows her to join.
Hi ABQ,
Made a mistake in my previous comment I meant “daughter of a Filipina”….thanks for your attention!!
Got it!
i hope that our representative will win this year…
Yes, we have been waiting for a very long time for our first, Miss World!
Hi, regarding dual citizenship. My daughter won Miss Teen Mayan World in Guatemala in 2004, does this mean she is not allowed to join the competition ? Please reply. Hopefully there’s a change of updates regarding this matter,. Thank you very much. Lizbeth
Hi Ely, from what I understood, when I asked Miss Cory Quirino about this concern, is that ladies who have represented the Philippines in an international pageant are not qualified.
However, did your daughter represent Guatemala in the Miss Teen World international pageant? If so, I will have to double check with Miss Cory about that
thanks for the query!
i think even we don’t have yet a winner just that reason we won’t hosting miss world i’m not agree as long as the pageant organizer’s will give the go signal so there’s no reason to do that.
