Rizzini Alexis Gomez, Best in Swimsuit winner at the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 beauty pageant!
Rizzini Alexis Gomez, who has earned a soft spot in my heart ever since I saw her compete in the Miss World Philippines 2012 beauty pageant, has won one of the key awards in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 – the Best in Swimsuit award!

Aside from the Best in Swimsuit, Rizzini Alexis Gomez (who is in my Top 4 List) made off with a sponsor’s award – the Mutya ng Imperial Palace. Could these 2 awards be a portent of more good things to come for the statuesque 5’10″ beauty queen hopeful?
The Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 beauty pageant is Rizzini’s 3rd attempt at bagging a national title. The first try was for Bb. Pilipinas earlier this year but she did not enter the final list of candidates. Then Rizzini Alexis Gomez gave the Miss World Philippines 2012 a shot and entered the official roster of competitors but did not place or win a special award. But now that she’s in Mutya ng Pilipinas, she’s getting the attention she’s worked so hard for by gaining a key award – Best in Swimsuit – AND a sponsor’s award.
Could it be that three is a charm for Rizzini Alexis Gomez?
We shall see on coronation night, August 12, 2012 at the UP Theater in Diliman, Quezon City!

She is a favorite ever since I watched her at Miss ALiwan Fiesta thru youtube. It was wonder why she was not accepted in Bb. Pilipinas and lost in MWP, but this is her time to shine in Mutya so I wish her the best,

#19 or #24 should have won if we base it on fitness, confidence and stage presence but I guess the homecourt advantage did wonders for the towering Rizzini or perhaps she sashayed better than the others..well, we have to factor in the criteria and see the girls in motion
