Rizzini Alexis Gomez of the Philippines Wins Miss Tourism International 2012!
A daughter of Cebu brings the Philippines a great honor over the New Year after besting 54 other contenders for the Miss Tourism International 2012 crown!
Registered nurse Rizzini Alexis Gomez won the pageant Monday evening in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The win is vindication for the 5’10″ model who competed but was unplaced in the Miss World Philippines 2012.

Crown back home to Manila again after the Philippines’ Maria Esperanza Manzano won it in the year 2000.

2nd Runner up – Australia’s Monika Rodulovic (Miss Tourism Metropolitan International)l
3rd Runner up – Paraguay’s Lourdes Maria Del Carmen Motta Rolon (Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International)
4th Runner up – Malaysia’s Jun Yong Wan Jun (Dreamgirl of the Year).
Miss Australia is the 1st runner-up and Venezuela the 2nd runner-up.

Due to not making it to the official list of candidates of Bb.Pilipinas 2012,Rizzini later joined Miss World Philippines 2012 but at the end of theevent, left empty handed. Due to determination, courage and perseverance this Cebuana lass joined Mutya ng Pilipinas and finally adjudged as Mutya ng Pilipinas-Tourism 2012 title aside from Best in Swimsuit Award..In 2012 Miss Tourism Int’l., she won Best in Evening Gown and the coveted int’l.crown. It’s been 12 long years since former Miss Quezon City and Mutya ng Pilipinas 2000 3rd runner-up Maria Esperanza “Peachy” Manzano won the Malaysian version of the same tourism int’l.title…My guess were right when I made a comment last week of Oct. in a FB Fanpage that victory strikes into three last year 2012.
