I had so much hope for Carrie Prejean but after her bratty antics and display of brainlessness on Larry King’s talk show, I concede.
I don’t think she understood Larry’s question – he just wanted to know WHY she settled with the Miss USA folk when she was fighting them tooth and nail. He wasn’t asking for what the terms were. And instead of saying something generic like: “Oh, I just wanted the whole thing to end and for everyone to move on,” she kept saying it was CONFIDENTIAL and that Larry was being INAPPROPRIATE.
Larry was surprised that even her motives for settling were placed under confidentiality. I guess she just DIDN’T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION. And, maybe because she is so used to being hassled and criticized, she quickly jumped into defense mode without thinking. Well, sorry Carrie fans… if it’s a choice between Larry and Carrie, I’m going with the man in suspenders.
