Miss CZECH REPUBLIC, Jitka Válková
Jitka Válková is this year’s Miss Czech Republic Universe. Although she is not very tall at 5’6″, Jitka Válková more than makes up for it with her angelic face AND voice! She recently recorded a song with Czech singer Josef Vagner – the Czech version of “Way Back Into Love“. That’s the theme song of the movie “Music and Lyrics,” that starred Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore.
This project happened completely by accident – when producer Karel Vagner was looking for a female singer for the part, he read a news story that Jitka Válková was seriously taking singing lessons under the respected Eduard Klezl. Karel made a few exploratory calls and was surprised to find that Jitka Valkova could indeed sing and her voice matched Josef Vagner’s.
Jitka Válková says her favorite historical figure is Jesus Christ. Not a surprise since this green-eyed beauty studies at a Catholic Grammar school. She loves walking her dog, swimming and cycling. Her favortie saying is: Be good to the people you meet going up, you might just meet them again on the way down.
Jitka Valkova is in my shortlist of favorites.
