Miss Denmark, Ena Sandra Causevic
Ena Sandra Causevic, this year’s Miss Denmark Universe has Croatian blood mixed in with some Geek. That’s right, I said GEEK. She admits being very geeky in school and was never really considered beautiful. Little did they know that Ena Sandra Causivic would grow up to one of be Denmark’s most beautiful women!
Four things I have in common with Ena Sandra Causevic: we both have beauty queen titles, we are bookworms and we were four-eyed monsters who were bullied in school.
Ena Sandra Causevic moved to a new school in 7th grade. Unfortunately, it was a bad mix -she did not fit in. She had no confidence and felt terribly awkward with her nerdiness and bulky glasses. In those days she preferred to sit alone during breaks. (How familiar this story is for me!)
But she says the bullying she suffered only made her a stronger person!
This 5’8″ beauty queen was raised in Cape Town, South Africa before moving to Sønderborg, Denmark. Her parents are both Croatian. To those frown at her lack of Danish blood, she has only this to say:
I am not a Dane or Croat, but a World Citizen.
While Ena Sandra Causevic remains loveless she does have some qualifications for possible suitors. She says her future partner in life has to have humor, a twinkle in his eye and a good dose of confidence. At the same time, he has to be understanding when it comes to her hectic lifestyle as a Communications student AND top model in Copenhagen. Add to that her duties as Miss Denmark Universe 2010!
