Miss Greece Star Hellas Universe 2010, Anna Prelevic
In Greece, the biggest beauty title in the land is called Star Hellas. The first runner-up of the Star Hellas winner is called Miss Greece. I hope that doesn’t confuse you… anywhooo, this year’s Star Hellas winner (who will represent Greed in the Miss Universe 2010) is Anna Prelevic (Prelevits).
If I’m reading my Greek right, Anna Prelevic caused a stir among the candidates when they realized she was the daughter of the famous Serbian-Greek basketball star Branizslav “Bane” Prelevic. They claimed Anna got preferential treatment from the organizers because of her pedigree. And after Anna Prelevic won, there were whispers that her father’s fame got her the title.
Hmmm… sounds like sour-graping to me!
Anna Prelivic is a graduate of Media Communications in Goldsmiths University of London. I guess that means she speaks English well and that Serbian-Greek basketball stars earn enough to send their daughters to British universities 
Anna Prelevic’s sports include tennis, horseback riding and figure skating.
