Miss Peru Universe 2010, Giuliana Zevallos
Miss Peru Universe 2010 Giuliana Zevallos has already been to the Philippines! She was in Manila in 2008 when she represented her country in the Miss Earth 2008 beauty pageant. In those days she was a medical student – and she still is to this day. With all her professional modeling assignments, it must be tough to study all those parasites and viruses.
The Peruvian Amazona is just one inch shy of six feet tall but is lean as a panther and has waistline smaller than my thigh.
And even if she already looks pageant-ready to me, Giuliana Zevallos still spent two and half weeks in Venezuela for ‘physical preparations’. She was put in the hands of specialists who put her on an exercise routine and healthy diet that allowed her to tone her muscles and upload some weight (yes, she is on the thin side).
Stylists also changed her look with hair treatments, facials and dental work. Giuliana Zevallos’ tresses now have a gorgeous mahogany color and she carries a prettier smile!
Although she admits having had two surgical enhancements: a bust increase and a nose improvement, they were done before she joined Miss Peru. Giuliana Zevallos says that’s enough for now because she doesn’t want to stop being herself.
It’s worth it, of course, for Miss Peru 2010 to do all she can to improve herself and in the process make history – if she wins Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas this August 2010, she will be the 2nd woman from her nation to hold the title; the first and last time Peru won Universe was in 1957!!!
But for the moment Giuliana Zevallos wears her sash with disbelief. She is very excited and super nervous about the responsibility of representing Peruvians in the Miss Universe contest. Giuliana is very proud of her country saying that in Peru you can find everything you want, a beautiful coastal region, beautiful beaches and lush jungles!
And a few exotic Llamas, if may add to that list!
