Miss Polonia 2009 Maria Nowakowska will surely catch the eye of judges with her skyscraper height of 6 feet! She will also surely impress them with her fluent English.
This Polish looker is from the old town of Legnica and works as a sales rep for a pharmaceutical company. At the same time she is studying at the State Higher Vocational School in Legnica majoring in Enterprise Management. She chose this course because it ties in with her career plans of running a business one day.
Maria Nowakowska, just like most of us, loves watching movies and listening to music. But interestingly enough, her biggest dream is to have a house by the lake and a husband and children to share it with.
Hmm… she will need a guy who doesn’t mind having a wife who stands a head taller than most girls 
No doubt Maria’s dream was influenced by her grandmother whom she describes as a warm and wise person who loves to gather the family around her and who always give good advice.
But another dream Maria Nowakowska had when she was a little girl was to become a princess! And now that dream has come true – she is not just a princess, but a beauty queen representing her nation in the most prestigious beauty pageant on the planet!
What got this simple girl into the Miss Polonia beauty pageant? She says it was her family who convinced her to attend the casting in her hometown. Maria Nowakowska says, the next steps were all a pleasant surprise that brought her to the fulfillment of her dreams.
