Singapore’s Miss Universe 2010 bet looks so Filipina! Tania Lim has those big luminous Asian eyes that match her jet-black long hair and slim hour-glass figure. This 5’9″ college student majored in Mass Communications with a double major in PR and Marketing at Murdoch University in Koala Land (down under). I wonder if she speaks with an Aussie accent, la?
She currently works as an account executive at a production house and hopes to move on one day by setting up her own business.
Tania Lim, just like her predecessor Rachel Kum (Miss Singapore 2009), got embroiled in controversy; Rachel for some racy photos online, Tania for winning the title that pageant critics’ thought should have gone to 1st Runner-up Annabel Tan. At least, that’s according to Singaporean publication The New Paper. Oh well, Tania Lim is the judges’ choice so I guess THAT’s THAT!
Tania does have some pageant experience to back her up: In 2007 she was MSO Miss Singapore and represented her country in the Miss Tourism 2007 in Malaysia. She also was a contestant in Beauty of the World 2009 in China where she romped off with the Best in Evening Gown honor.
This Asian darling is into knitting and clubbing (I wonder if she does both at the same time…) and yoga and swimming. She also looooooves to shop! Proof of this is her collection of over 300 pairs of shoes!!! Tania Lim admits she has an Imeldific shoe fetish and goes for brands like Pedro, Steve Madden, Aldo and Nine West.
