Miss Spain, Adriana Reveron
Adriana Reveron, Spain’s representative to Miss Universe 2010 has been to the Philippines! She was here in 2008 to compete in the Miss Earth beauty pageant where she made it as a Top 8 Finalist and won several awards including the Miss RCBC e.Woman title.
Now she is representing her country again in the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant!
This 5’10″ brunette who lives on the largest Canary island in Tenerife is a Technical Architecture student and a fashion model. Because of all her duties as a beauty queen and fashion model, Adriana Reveron had to leave her island haven to move to the urban jungle of Madrid. She plays volleyball and is a swimmer.
In an interview with the publication La Opinion, Adriana Reveron says:
It never crossed my mind that I could participate in Miss Universe. I know I have it very difficult, because the girls are spectacular, but I will do what I can.
Girls from Tenerife have done well in international pageants – Out of the past 5 Miss Spains from Tenerife, 3 performed exceedingly well: in 2008 Patricia Yurena made it into the Top 15 of Miss World, in 1977 Luz Maria Polegre made into the Top 12 of Miss Universe and in 1969 Noelia Afonso won the Miss Europe beauty pageant.
