Miss Switzerland, Linda Fah
Miss Switzerland Linda Fäh (doesn’t that name sound so ASIAN?) has a husky singing voice even if she doesn’t smoke. At least that was what Ville said when he interviewed her in this clip. She chose to sing a few lines “Amazing Grace” for him in their little tête-à-tête. And because that song kind of describes my life, I’m beginning to like Linda Fäh bigtime…
So yes, she loves to sing and has performed in small ceremonies and celebrations. Linda Fäh also admits that her guilty pleasure is singing loudly her car.
Well, Linda is one of the oldest contestants in this year’s Miss Universe 2010 at age 26 and one of the taller ones at 5’10″. She is locally known in her country as Miss Schweiz 2009 – I am not quite sure about this but I think she was supposed to compete in the Miss World 2009 but it never pushed through.
But what I do know is that this leggy blonde has been working for 4 years as a bank clerk in Benken (would you trust someone this pretty with your money?) Of course, the Swiss know best about banking so she’s in the right place!
But this pretty bank clerk has quite a challenge - her predecessor Whitney Toyloy entered the Top 10 in last year’s Miss Universe so there’s that extra pressure to match Whitney’ performance or do even better. Whew! Pageants can be bad in that way 
More interesting factoids on Miss Switzerland Universe 2010 Linda Fäh:
- She’s hip – she sports a belly ring and a diamond on one of her canine teeth. Not quite my style but I’m open to it…
- Linda Fäh spends too much time in the bathroom which drives her father crazy. He should just build a 2nd bathroom for himself, I say!
- Miss Switzerland and I have something in common – we drag water bottles around with us wherever we go.
- Linda Fäh’s sport include inline skating, running and cycling.
- Her Mom is great cook who sticks to healthy and balanced meals so Linda Fäh won’t get fat.
