Miss Tanzania, Hellen Dausen
The modeling career of Hellen Dausen began in 2005 when she was on the beach swimming on a weekend. She was approached by two ladies who asked if Hellen would like to model for their magazine. She was doubtful but gave it a shot and ended up loving it! That’s when her dream of becoming a Supermodel began 
Hellen Dausen says she looks up to Tyra Banks, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Alek Wek, Ajuma Giselle and Heidi Klum. She also looks up to her Mom who tells her all that time that one day she will ‘get there’! As far as pageant fans are concerned, Hellen Dausen is ALREADY there, now that she is Miss Tanzania Universe 2010 and competing in Las Vegas!
This 5’6″ chocolate Tanzanian beauty currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya where she is completing an undergraduate degree in International Business Administration minoring in Entrepreneurship in the United States International University. While she was studying there in 2007, she joined and won Miss USIU, the University’s beauty pageant. Then two years later, Hellen Dausen won the Miss University Kenya title.
