Miss Turkey, Gizem Memiç
For Miss Turkey Universe 2010 Gizem Memiç, the Turkish actress Tuba Büyüküstün is the prettiest woman in Turkey. And she thinks that actress Emma Watson is the most beautiful woman in the world. Now while you might disagree with Miss Turkey’s taste in beauty, you have to admit that Gizem, Tuba and Emma are all gorgeous in thier own right.
Gizem by the way means MYSTERY in Turkish. And it is a mystery to me why she is competing in Miss Universe when the winner of Miss Turkey usually goes to the Miss World beauty contest as seen in past years. The lady who came in 2nd was Senay Sarikaya who is a professional actress – she’s going to Miss World later this year to represent Turkey. Can someone explain the flip-flopping to me?
The thing that makes Gizem Memiç the happiest is her family and friends when they are with her. The thing that makes her the most unhappy is losing someting she likes. Nice to know she’s just like everybody else!
This 5’10″ Turkish delight plays volleyball (I heard she’s a pro-player), loves taking photographs, baking and making desserts (I guess eating them too), dancing, singing, travelling, watching movies, painting, fitness, swimming, shopping and as the previous paragraph says, being with her friends. And when Gizem Memiç is not doing all of that, she’s busy studying Interior Architecture at Bilkent University.
