Wow, I wonder what it feels like to have the famous English actress Joan Collins judging you from head to toe? Well, Anna Poslavska knows EXACTLY how it feels like and I’m not sure if I am envious or not. Joan Collins was indeed one of the honorable judges (if I may use that descriptive) at the Miss Ukraine 2010 beauty pageant and Joan asked something like:
What world problem would you first solve – international terrorism, nuclear proliferation or global warming?
Anna Poslavska, who was a bit nervous said something like:
At first I would probably solve the problem of nuclear proliferation because the problem accompanies the problem of international terrorism and destroying the environment which in turn leads to global warming.
WHEW! I hate questions like that!!! But Anna Poslavska’s answer helped her gain the Miss Ukraine Universe 2010 crown; good for her!
This 5’11″ anti-nuke sweetheart comes from a well-educated family. Her Mom is a doctor and her Dad an engineer. But Anna Poslavska’s choice for a college degree is Tourism Management which she has already finished. She is now working toward a 2nd degree in Kiev’s National Economic University.
Her clan also happens to be huge and friendly. According to her Miss Ukraine webpage, Anna Poslavska has 4 aunts and lots of siblings. For her, FAMILY is the most important thing in her life calling it her main treasure.
Her dream of a lifetime is not really to win Miss Universe (although that’s included on her list) – Anna Poslavska wants to own a home on the beach by the Black Sea which borders the south of her country Ukraine. For her, Crimea (an automous republic under the jurisdiction of Ukraine), is the most relaxing place on the planet. She happens to live there
Back to the here and now – Miss Ukraine Universe 2010′s wardrobe fits in no less than five big suitcases. Her National Costume though was hand-carried because it was made up of delicate ears of wheat. It took them 4 months to sew the dress by hand. It makes her look like the cutest-ever bunny rabbit popping out of a little wheat field, LOL! Click here to see…
But Ana Poslavskaya is no withering plant or creature. She has several beauty pageant titles under her belt – The Princess of Ukraine 2007, Miss Crystal Crown Crimea 2008, Miss Ukraine South 2009 and the People’s Choice Award in the Miss Ukraine 2009!
