Alice Musukwa, Miss Zambia Universe 2010 is last but not the least in ABQ’s Guide to Miss Universe 2010. For me, she looks far more stunning when she is not smiling although she does have a cute grin in the photo here. IMHO she’s got that kind of exotic beauty that fashion designers and people like me lurrrrv! Click here to see what I mean!
In this interview with Missosology.org, Alice Musukwa, Miss Zambia Universe 2010 shares a few things about herself. Here are my thoughts after reading that interview:
Alice Musukwa is not taking her title Miss Zambia Universe 2010 for granted. She is thrilled about her beauty queen status and is thankful that a simple girl like her from “a small and relatively unknown country like Zambia” (her words) was given a chance to have world-wide exposure.
But Alice Musukwa still has to get used to the attention, specially at home in Zambia where she is considered to be VERY tall at 5’10″. The average woman there is about 5 feet so she’s literally got an edge over most of her countrywomen.
I think one of the reasons why Alice Musukwa radiates the attitude of thankfulness is because she did not wallow in self-pity after being orphaned at a very young age. In the Missosology interview, she says this painful experience in her life taught her to be self-reliant and self-dependent. It also made her believe in herself – I mean, who else could she turn to except herself? Personally, I cannot imagine life without my parents to protect and cherish me. It was my Mom who pushed me hard and because of her I am a beauty queen today. And that’s why I am so amazed that Alice Musukwa was able to achieve this much without a Mom and a Dad to raise her up.
Kudos to Alice Musukwa, Miss Zambia Universe 2010, may you achieve all your dreams!
