MWP 2012 Notes: Contestant #20 Kaye Michelle Agnes

Kaye Michelle Agnes at the Final Screening of Miss World Philippines 2012

The word ANGLED might not be a very feminine descriptive but in the case of Kaye Michelle Agnes, the angular quality of her jawline, cheekbones and nose is strong and yet queenly. A gorgeous face you won’t easily forget. In fact, she has been unofficially dubbed “The Mystery Girl” by online pageant fans because many of them weren’t quite sure where she came from when they saw her at the Final Screening of Miss World Philippines 2012.

But now we know that Kaye Michelle Agnes did not just pop out of nowhere – she was a Calcarrie’s model for a few years and a Top 10 finalist and Miss Sony Bravia Ultimate¬† in the Ford Super Model of the World Philippines 2006. And she also was Miss Nursing Mapua during her time as a student there. Her other college achievements: she was a half-scholar and a Dean’s Lister.

According to Norman’s blog, Kaye Michelle Agnes speaks Spanish (she studied it at Instituto Cervantes) and has Hispanic roots. She also speaks English, Pilipino, Bicolano and Sorsoganon since she is from Sorsogon, Bicol. This 5’7″ stunner is also well-traveled having visited countries like Spain, Belgium, France and Tunisia.

New Factoid from one commenter: Kaye Michelle Agnes is a co-founder of Andilana Foundation that feeds daycare children along the fishing villages in Sorsogon by raising funds from Europe during her long absence from the Manila limelight.

Putting up a foundation for children in need is one big asset for Kaye Michelle Agnes since the Miss World group is known for taking charity work seriously.
