VIDEO: Announcement of Top 5 in National Costume, Bb. Pilipinas 2015

In an exciting twist, Bb. Pilipinas decided to announce the Top 5 beauties in National Costume for this year’s pageant! Check out the video above of the announcement.

The 5 reigning queens – MJ Lastimosa, Bianca Guidotti, Tiffany Janson, Yvethe Santiago and Parul Shah made the announcement at the Bb. Pilipinas 2015 Fashion Show held at the Araneta Coliseum on February 26, 2015.

The Top 5 in National Costume are:

#25 Rogelie Catacutan wearing Philip Tampus

#10 Pia Wurtzbach wearing Albert Andrada

#34 Wynwyn Marquez wearing Frederick Peralta

#27 Ina Dominica Guerrero who had live butterflies come out of her parasol (I did not get the designer’s name. Do any of you dear readers know who created her gown?) Read first comment to see who designed her gown.

and #29 Nancy Leonard wearing Edwin Uy

Coming up in the next few posts – my thoughts on who I felt was the best performer in National Costume (Pia Wurtzbach) and sexiest in their Jag Jeans (Pia Wurtzbach, Janicel Lubina, Kimverlyn Suiza, Alaiza Malinao, Hannah Sison and Ann Colis).

But overall, Pia Wurtzbach was the star of the night for me. She was oozing with sex appeal in the Jag Jeans portion and elegant as royalty in the National Costume Competition.

I’ll also be posting some AWESOME photos taken by my hubby with his Sony A77 and his Sony QX30 lens camera.

This is going to be a tough pageant to judge but I already can see 6 or 7 who are outshining the rest.

One last thing I have to add… host Laura Lehman who was last year’s 1st Runner-up said that the fashion show was to pay homage to our Filipino Designers – something she said a few times. I take that as a peace offering from Bb. Pilipinas to local designers after that unfortunate faux pax. Click here to see what I mean.

Oh, one more SUPER last thing before I forget. There will still be 5 crowns to be given away as opposed to rumors that the Tourism and Intercontinental titles will be scrapped. At least that’s what I heard from the voice over. Of course this could change as the days go by. We will only know for sure on coronation night!
